Michael LeGrand is a freelance Director of Photography and camera operator based in Northeast Florida, working with agencies, production companies, and creative teams across the United States. He brings over 20 years of experience shooting commercial, branded content, healthcare, documentary, and broadcast projects.

Michael is comfortable stepping into established crews or leading small production teams, adapting quickly to the needs of each project. His background in both photography and video allows him to approach motion work with a strong visual foundation, technical precision, and an understanding of how footage will ultimately be used.

Available for DP and camera operator roles on commercial shoots, branded content, documentaries, interviews, and live productions. Michael is an FAA Part 107 licensed and insured drone pilot and can provide aerial video when appropriate.

Audio and lighting packages are designed for clean capture in real-world environments. Audio tools include a Zoom F6 recorder with wireless lavalier systems, on-camera microphones, and timecode sync using Tentacle Track E and Sync E units for streamlined post-production. Lighting equipment features Aputure 600X and 300D fixtures, bi-color LED light mats, and flexible lighting solutions for interviews, testimonials, and branded content across varied locations.

Aerial video is available when it meaningfully supports the story and production goals. Michael is an FAA Part 107 licensed and insured drone pilot and operates a DJI Mavic 4 Pro, providing professional aerial video capture when appropriate.
